I see you are confused.
Let’s start at the beginning.
In looking up the definition of love it can be a feeling, a promise, to praise, zero or no score, to need, to thrive on. The list is endless if you really dig into it.
In looking up the definition of dare, we find it translates to having enough courage, defy or challenge and also to face up to.
Well, let’s see now.
Simple math would bring some of the following possibilities. To face up to a feeling. To have enough courage to praise. zero challenge. A promise to defy.
Let’s start at the very beginning.
Love is an action.
“I used to be in love.” When did you decide not to show action anymore?
“I used to love spending time with………”
Are you stuck in the feeling of being in love.
Remember back to when you were in love, you gave love to something and it may even have given love to you in return. Both actions.
Read 1 Corinthians 4-8
The end of this verse states the following regarding love “It always protects, always trusts, alway hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails.”
Does that sound like a feeling?
