My will be done- A lesson in selflessness

And you shall go

But not as you had planned

For this was never meant to be your plan

You have prayerfully asked for someone to support you

But the moment anyone threatens to come close your mind produces so many questions

It is looking at their person, their very soul, their entire life desperately searching for an unbearable flaw

And your mind does not disappoint

Time after time finding that needle in every haystack proving beyond a shadow of a doubt, that you are safer alone

And you profess that you do not judge

Yet it is you that does not trust

Ask yourself this

How will you move forward?

And if God sends you someone

Will you let your mind then deny that gift?

One time, two times, twenty times, perhaps for an eternity

And who are you to play a hand in God’s will?

Who are you to judge yourself and determine your own fate?

Is this not the exact thing that you have prayed for?

To be selfless

Yet it is that very self that threatens to hold you back forever

Confining you to a different cage

One deemed unworthy of love

Did God not create woman for man?

And yet you have decided woman was created to be alone

Sentencing yourself to an eternal Hell on earth

God has indeed surrounded you with family and friends that will support you through Christ

And yet you make the ultimate decision as to if He will bless you with someone to love and support you

Do not pray for that which you are unwilling to accept

Matthew 6:10

Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven.
